What participants in our global community survey shared about their experience with DNRS

In 2025, DNRS conducted a Client Experiences and Outcomes Survey to better understand member results and insights.

A total of 430 members responded. The findings below are based on self-reported data, and several clear trends emerged from the results.

Meaningful Improvements Across Key Areas of Life

Across multiple areas of health and daily functioning, the majority of participants reported noticeable improvement, with a substantial subset describing their results as significant or life-changing.

Emotional Well-Being

95.2% of participants reported improvement in emotional well-being.
36.7% reported significant or life-changing improvement.

These changes reflect meaningful gains in emotional regulation, resilience, and overall nervous system balance.

Physical Health

89.4% of participants reported improvement in physical health.
23.4% reported significant or life-changing improvement.

Many participants also reported moderate improvement, indicating steady physical gains over time.

Cognitive Function

83.5% of participants reported improvement in cognitive function.
19.3% reported significant or life-changing improvement.

Improvements often included clearer thinking, improved focus, and reduced brain fog.

Social Participation

85.4% of participants reported improvement in their ability to participate in social activities with family and friends.
29.5% reported significant or life-changing improvement.

Social engagement commonly increases as nervous system capacity and confidence return.

Ability to Work & Carry Out Daily Activities

88% of participants reported improvement in their ability to work, study, or manage daily activities such as self-care and household tasks.

Overall Quality of Life

94.2% of participants reported improvement in overall quality of life.
37.6% reported significant or life-changing improvement.

This reflects whole-person change across emotional, physical, cognitive, and functional domains.

When Did Participants First Notice Improvement?

Participants reported noticing improvements at different points in their DNRS journey, reflecting the individualized nature of nervous system retraining.

  • 13.7% noticed improvement within 3–6 months
  • 9% noticed improvement within 6–12 months
  • 5.1% noticed improvement after more than 1 year

79.2% of the 430 survey respondents said they saw relief and signs of recovery in six months or less of DNRS practice.
